Solved Web vid replay probs with Standard User

Download JavaRA and run that. It will remove all old versions of Java and install the latest.

I did a lot of tweakings, including checking ALL drivers listed in Device Manager for updates (surprissed that a few did need updating), uninstalled latest Flash and installed an older version but had to re-install the latest again as required by some sites....so now I have two Flash players listings: 10 activeX and 10 plugin. (I never had a plugin listing before), re-stored some registry entries I had cleaned earlier and ran memory and HDD diagnostics (found three stuffs that needed solution). Ran sfc /scannow and I slept while chkdsk was running the rest of the night.

I woke up at noon back to 100% normal again. (No clue which of these did the job as I had done bits of them before...except the Flash plugin from older version installation)

Can I suggest you make an image while it is at what you call 100%?

It will save you time next time, unless you don't mind the forensics.

I just meant all the detective work of trying to figure out what goes wrong every time it happens, some people like to track down every problem, some just want it fixed.

So if you don't mind doing all the stuff you have been doing in this thread, my suggestion to make an image of your system while it's running good might not appeal to you, it would save time though if your problem arises again, you just re-image and your back to your good running machine.

Since you are in forensics, I probably used that word out of context.

As it turned out, the problem is simple and the solution is simpler: FP should be installed separately in all users account.

I tried only one installation on Administration account and give full permission to all users and it did not work out.

With seperate installation on Standard account, problem solved. Case closed, again?
