It is a nice country to live in Ted, I'm not actually Welsh but I've lived here for the last 21 years.

It's all my DH's fault, we came for a fortnights holiday to Tenby in September 1986 enjoyed the area so went home sold our house and moved down to Saundersfoot in March 1987. We were there for six years and moved a bit further along the coast and just inland in May 1993 and been here ever since :D

Just hoping the weather will be kind on Saturday as my daughter gets married and we're hoping to have some of the photo's taken on the beach.

Thank you it was a wonderful day and after having the worst summer with more rain than anything else the day was a star and turned out sunny and dry so the photo's could be taken outside in the sunshine with no wind to speak off either :D

It was a long day but worth it, mind you I missed my computer

Thanks for the concern and yeah we turned out okay. We boarded up and put everything up as high as we could in our house expecting the worst. It ended up I got to take a vacation to Ohio with my girlfriend and no damage so we lucked out. But man going a couple days with out power down here is not fun!

I appreciate the prayers (I think it worked) and for the guys wondering which boarded up house we are... we're the one with a white cross spray painted on the front door.

That is nice and tranquil, echrada. My son lives in a place called Boddam right on the coast between Aberdeen and Peterhead, the views from his windows are rocks and sea with a lighthouse on one side :D

I WAS BORN IN THE UK BUT I WAS CONCEIVED IN AUSTRALIA, MOVED BACK TO AUSTRALIA JUST AFTER I WAS BORN AND WENT BACK TO ENGLAND WHEN I WAS 12 AND LIVED IN THE MIDLANDS IN A PLACE CALLED REDDITCH FOR THE MOST PART OF TEN YEARS.

SPENT SOME TIME IN LONDON AS WELL AND SPENT THE MILLENNIUM 2000 IN LONDON (NEVER SEEN SO MANY PEOPLE IN ONE PLACE). WHENT BACK TO MY HOME TOWN IN CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA AT THE END OF 2000.

MOVED DOWN TO THE SUNSHINE COAST IN 2003, SPENT A COUPLE OF YEARS DOWN THERE AND THEN MOVED BACK UP TO CAIRNS AND THATS WHERE I AM NOW
