I believe it could be issue with one of the (Vista) Service (most of the time search service) or with the explorer extension (shell).

How to perform advanced clean-boot troubleshooting in Windows XP Follow this article (Similar to vista) and find the service.

if it works then i will let you know how to repair the service.

Hi ... My first post on this site ...

I have the same problem ... A temporary solution in my comp was to put the files into a folder and delete that...

But, I still cant delete them directly .. the not respoding popup ... some one please help me out

hi.. finally i found this thead (about annoying same problem with [rahu] and [krashe])!

i'm using windows vista home premium 32bit , and maybe u guys can list down the installed program on your windows like me and find similiar programs/malware that maybe make our vista like this..

i don't know how to list the program from : Start\ControlPanel\Programs and Features :D, but i go to cmd and go to folder Program files and type :

C:\Program Files>dir/b >> c:\temp\temp.txt

i open the temp.txt file and this is the list my files :
