BSOD with fresh vista install...

Hey, i have this strange problem. I installed Vista 32bit Business Edition (legit version, just for the record) on my Toshiba Satellite laptop.
Everything seems fine after the installation is done. I can use my desktop etc. No problems at all.

The first thing i did was installing the Windows updates so i get all the latest patches and drivers for my laptop.

There is a first group of ~72 updates Vsita downloads and installs and after that it requires a reboot. So i rebooted my computer to finish the updates but that's when the trouble begins.

I get to the part where you see the green processbar, loading my OS, but after that i quickly get a BSOD and then my computer reboots... The BSOD just stays up for less than a second, so it's impossible to see the error message and then my machine reboots. And this happends over and over again...

I've also tried to format and reinstall everything again. But the same thing happend to me... I have no idea why and what is causing this problem... Cause it always worked before...

Do you guys have any idea what the problem could be...???

Hi Vivendi,

Welcome to the forum.

Is your install disc complete with SP1? If not have a look here;
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/151606-vista-sp1-slipstream-installation-dvd.html

This will show you how to make a DVD with SP1 incorporated which you should then use to install Vista

I hope this helps
