Hmm, This may indeed be the rare instane that the board truely does not want to detect the higher pci-e standard.

Unless they gave the old card bAck....

By this point it's just getting frustrating. I'm just going return this one back to the company and order elsewhere. If that doesn't work then I know its my computer.
