That card will be just fine in your mobo, only possible issue is physically fitting in your case as you didn't mention what you switched too.

Your mobo is pci-e 2.0, which is perfectly compatible with pci-e 3.0.

The 240 came out before dx11 so what do you expect? It actually is a fairly old card.. Probably 3 yrs or more as it was "replaced" by the gt540.

Thanks for Your reply, & to anwser your question my new case is Corsair 600t white, I really wasnt complaining about 240 card only about the newly released games, By the way, As i only paid £20 for it as a temp replacement for a faulty Geforce G210 card, i mean a 3 year old card & it plays almost all games except for all the Crysis games, i mean all the crysis games work but theres a lot of lag on it which makes it unplayable in my opinion I knew at the time of purchase it didnt have direct x 11, But now with most games demanding directx11 I thought its about time i invest in a better card as the 240 was only a temp card.

Also another Question? would the Radeon series cards work in my PC, Because i like this card it looks good & has great reviews its called
{ Radeon HD 7850 1 GB..} or am i bound to only Nvidia GPUs, Pls reply

You will undoubtedly have to get a more powerful PSU. 300 watts isn't much. Keep in mind that the Crysis games are very resource intensive.

Ah yha sorry I forgot you went with the 600T.

AMD cards are good, but they are notorious or having driver issues. The 7850 is a better card, but by 10fps-ish. The question to you becomes is the increase in cost worth the gains.

Both cards will do you just fine, its up to you if the £40-60 is worth it.
