CCleaner seems to be a program to be careful with. I'd gathered it was a "Safe" registry cleaner so allowed it its head, but then found I'd lost several file associations (including pdf, jpg and ico). Attempting to re-merge its saved reg file came up with the "Failure" comment as some files were in use. No real damage, but some wasted time. :(

CC's truly a great tool for temp & registry cleaning cause it's not that powerful but still get the job done,
I mean I used "Your Uninstaller! 2008.PRO" before...
way too powerful that causing BSOD or other errors to my system that I've to reformat...
what a nightmare~~~

I think you are asking if Ccleaner creates a restore point before cleaning the registry? It creates a backup file of the registry that you can revert to if anything goes wrong...if that is what your are asking.

Ya, But I Found But What About Cleaned File. Means If A Impotant File In TEMP Folder As Age of Mythology STAT Data Before Uploading. CCLean Delete That One.

So, It Will Better To Have A Backup Prompt. Is It Support That?
