Recently, when I open an email in my WinMail and find a link to U Tube (for example), I cannot get any sound with it. Can you tell me in terms that I can understand what I should do. Thank you for any help.
Go to Start button, then Search, type Audio Manager and see if it finds your Audio Manager, if so, open that up, then look in Sound Manager and check settings for default or enabled and see if you can get the sound test to work , check volume levels also.
Are you saying that it did not open up and give you any thing to manage as far as Audio devices, Sound Manager , Volume Control, you got nothing ? Can you provide some details please ?
It took me to the Realtek HD Audio Manager which had info on it for Speaker Configuration, Sound Effects, Room Correction, and Default Format (which is 24 fits, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality). Two other options are CD Format and DVD Format. Also Adjustment for Volume. That's it.
Speaker Config has drop down menu that shows 2 2.1, 4 3.1, 5 5.1 speakers. When I click on blue arrow it just makes the speaker pictures blink. No sound.
Yard Dog, I am sorry, but I need to sign off for now. Can we take this thread up again tomorrow?
Sorry, I got lost and forgot to get back on this forum. I have looked at the Audio Manager again and either I am not understanding anything I read, or I'm just dumb.
