Right click PCI simple Communication and click Update driver. Windows can automatically search for the driver.

It is defiantly your modem. Check your device manager, you probably have a yellow question mark. All you have to do is find out what kind of modem you have and install the driver.
My Computer
I have the same problem with the YELLOW EXCLAMATION & NO driver for a " PCI Simple Communications Controller" and have Vista Ultimate x64 SP2 installed and getting bummed about this one. Can anyone help ?
