Printer issue

I had an old HP printer so added a parallel port PCI card to my system. The printer shows up as a choice when I go to print. The printer however does not show up under devices and printer folder. I am trying to remove the printer from the system and from showng up as an available printer when I go to print.

Type services in search

In services look for bluetooth, and set to automatic. I know this sounds crazy, but it works 9 out of 10 times. Unfortunately, you may be number 10. With an old printer it may not employ blue tooth technology. But give it a shot.

I had read this somewhere else, but cannot get to bluetooth. Running Wndows 7 home prem 32 bit. Went to devices and drivers and typed bluetooth in search box - says nothing found? Where do I find it

Go to search, by start button and type services. Bluetooth is in services.

Found it - thanks, set it to automatic, rebooted the system. Still do not show up. Any other suggestions?

Yes, but not in answer to your question. This is a Vista Forum, you have Windows 7. Why not ask the question, there? The members have expertise in the area of Windows 7 and may be of more help.

Click windows 7 at the top of your screen.
