Recycle bin File is gone/ Deleting Files Hangs

Hello!

Don't worry about Desktop.inis in any locations. They are found in most locations, and are part of Windows. The only reason you are seeing them all of a sudden is because you have enabled viewing of Hidden files. We can disable that later, but in the mean time, don't delete them!

However, please delete the following:

C:\$RECYCLE(0).BIN
C:\$RECYCLE.BIN
Both Desktop.inis from your desktop ONLY
Any other random Recycle Bins which will delete

Now extract my zip, to create the following structure: C:\$RECYCLE.BIN\Recycle Bin

Refresh your Desktop, and see if that has fixed it.

If it doesn't, please tell me which files remain, and the current situation.

Thanks!

Richard

P.S. I will now be going out for about 45 minutes, but will be back after that :)

Is there a way to delete the Recycle(0).bin form like the command prompt because i cant find it with Windows Explorer or WinRar i know its there because i saw it once when saving a file and i havent seen it since.

EDIT: Now the Recycle.Bin folder thing is automatically being created, that problem is solved but the thing is Deleting files still hang and i seem to be at a constant 100% cpu usage in the Task manager

Not to be rude but i need help with this, it's kinda annoying >.<

Hello!

Sorry about the delay. Glad that the Recycle Bins now exists. If you can't see Recycle(0).bin, then it probably doesn't exist any more, however, here is the command to try: rd /s /q C:\Recycle(0).bin

After that, open Command Prompt, and click on the CPU header, to sort by usage. Please report the names of the top few CPU users along with their usage. System Idle Process does not count, as this is the percentage of CPU usage free for any program/process to use.

Thanks!

Richard

Wait it is in Task manager i'll get it in a sec
Okay so
Search Indexer - Normal 50% Cpu usage
MsMpENG.exe - Around 45-50% Cpu Usage But this is my MSE Scan going. So i dont know what is taking up the other 50% normally.
