How to Remove or Show Drives in "Send To" Context Menu in Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8

information   Information
This tutorial will show you how to have all available drive letters to be removed or displayed in the "Send To" context menu in Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8.

Note   Note
Having drive letters in the Send To menu can sometimes cause it to open slowly or hang for a bit while it is reading from the drives when the Send To menu opens.

Especially if you have Windows set to turn off idle hard drives while it waits for them to spin back up.

Re: Send To Context Menu - Remove or Show Drive Letters

Thanks Shawn. That has been nagging me for 3 years, just never quite enough to look for a way to fix it. Fortunately, I just stumbled over a related tutorial, and then the link to this. Even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then.
