Two desktop backgrounds?

Hey guys,

I'm currently running two monitors on my vista home premium, and my pc is setting the desktop background for my primary monitor on my secondary one too, which due to the image looks terrible! :(

I know in XP you used to be able to do something like right click a second image, set as a desktop object, then enlarge to desktop background, giving you a second background for your second screen (or something like that?)

Is a similar thing possible in Vista? I can't find it and my screens hurt my eyes!!! :P

Thanks very much in advance for any replies... :)

What you could do is use a photo editing program. Make the canvas size equal to the two displays then just drag the two backgrounds you want and fit it accordingly.
Seems like a more manual way, I'm sure there's a basic program out there that can tie two images together for the same propose you want it for -- but if you're looking for a quick fix, this seems like your best bet.

Goodluck =]

Deviant art is blocked, so I can't grab the specific link, but there's a large multi-display section under customization.

thanks very much for your tips guys, display fusion was indeed a good solution, but i'm sure a bit of photoshopping wouldn't have gone amiss failing that! :)
