Solved update flash player

hello everyone

I cannot watch you tube videos because i need new version of flash player, but when
I try to download new version nothing happens. do i need to uninstall old version of flash player
before i can install new version. If so can anyone tell me the correct way to do this.

I just download the new version without a problem. If you are having a problem because you still have the old version, uninstall from the control panel, then download and use ccleaner to remove any of the remnants to try again.
If it is not caused because you have the old version, which I think may be the case, can you tell us in detail what has happened.

when i click on the adobe flash player download i get this page

That is what you are suppose to get. It is telling you step by step what you can expect. When I did it, I got the same thing. Wait 30 to 60 seconds. The UAC will come on asking for permission to continue.

Try from another administrative user account. Set up a new one if you have to.

Hello Calmat,

Since you are not getting the install pop-up message at the bottom of your browser (IE9 ??), then you may have ActiveX Filtering turned on causing it to be blocked if you're using Internet Explorer 9 (IE9).

You might also see if you may be able to download and install the standalone exe version of Flash Player at the bottom of the link below instead.
