you're getting there. I wonder why parigon will not do it? If I were doing it I would delete "A" and expand "C" but if there is data on A you cant.

Hello Ken/ZigZag.

I know it is strange...

No there is nothing on newly created a partition that I want to keep.

But I canot seem to expand C in to empty A partition. and I am not sure why this is!

I am using A tool/Program called EASEUS Partition manager at the moment to completely format partition A and delete all the data on it.

Hopefully after that I might be able to merge the two together somehow

as you mentioned in Post #22 I have tried Deleting partition a and expanding partition c using Vista HDM tool but I cannot expand C into it. the option to expand C is greyed out!

That done the trick.

I used this program : EASEUS Partition manager Home (Freeware) and this Solved my issue.

I completely formatted the 39 GB "A" Partition, and also ticked the option to delete and destroy all data on the partition too.

I then used EASEUS to Resize/Expand my original "C" partition into the newly deletd and formatted "A" Now empty Partition. this workes perfectly...
