vista RDP to xp

i have a user with a home laptop with Windows vista 64bit on it, she logs into a citrix vpn connection to the work network after that she will login to her host desktop which is Windows xp sp3 via RDP. the issue now with this setup is on her Windows xp pc a BSOD happened while she was logged into the pc and it kicked her out, the BSOD indicated a Win32k.sys error. what would the issue be or what can i try to fix that i have not already done so. I found the fix for vista and xp RDP which did not apply becasue it said it was already applied to the vista pc.

thanks Kesume I will not do anything. just more info. I installed the citrix zen app 64bit edition. i have other users with this same setup and no issues only this one. no viruses no malware either.

I have tried on the xp machine. i renamed the win32k.sys to win32k.sys.old and it made a new one. i also changed the VM to system managed. I found some fix for vista in regards to RDP it said it was already applied. I have tried clearing cache, AV scan, rootkits etc nothing comes up. other these things nothing.

rich the BSOD happened on the windows xp machine not Vista.

vista is what she uses to connect to her windows xp pc remotely via Citrix vpn then RDP in Windows vista.

Sorry for any delay My Graphic card has gone & im stuck on 800X 600 with Yellow lines at the moment. New card due soon.

My first post is applicable to both Vista & XP.

Do you have admin access to the XP machine? if not seek advice from your admin/ network support team. OK?
