Hey guys,
Windows Vista won't start up anymore. Various problems occur during the start up that prevent it from starting up. It occurred around 3pm or 4pm today when i was just on the internet and talking with my friend on MSN and then BAM! BSOD! The PC rebooted itself and came back up, but then it began giving me a looping 'windows explorer.exe has stopped working' error. So I rebooted again.
I tried Last known good configuration and it didn't work. Gives me a flashing BSOD and the PC restarts itself. Attempts to boot into normal mode sometimes brings BSOD and sometimes just stays black before the circular Windows vista logo that should appear.
Safe mode works fine. I'm currently on safe mode at the moment. It works fine. I've tried Start Up repair using my Vista CD and nothing. It says no errors were found. I've tried Norton scan and nothing there.
Here are my specs:
OS: Vista Home Premium 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8Ghz
RAM: 4GB (2x 2GB Sticks)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 260 896MB
DirectX: 10
HDD: 500GB Seagate 7200 RPM
Motherboard: GIGABYTE EP45-UD3R
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Sound: Onboard Realtek HD Sound
If you guys can get this fixed for me... that would be great... because I gotta print off a school project for tomorrow.
