The music I was into hasn't changed much, depends on the mood I'm in.
I like almost anything from 50's to today.
Would listen to wind in trees, or waves on a beach but I don't like rap,opera or country.
Was into ska a few years ago but not so much now

I don't like much of anything since about 1993. That's when the melody was taken out. For some reason, someone decided that people singing monotone in an off key was great and the studios have more or less demanded it since then. That's not to say there hasn't been anything good since then.
