Wordpad error

OK I reinstalled the update and it broke Wordpad again. System restore returned it to a working state.
My solution is to turn off Windows update.

There's no point in arguing with a successful solution, but the fact remains that no one else has ever reported your issue with KB4014793. Do you have Microsoft Office installed, or any of its components? (My latest hunch is that the presence or absence of Office determines whether ole32 version 19755 or 24078 should have been in System32 after installing KB4014793, and therefore whether or not your WordPad issue can occur.)
