Dave sorry for the following stupid question, but your answer can be usefull for a noob like me, vLite is a program to build custom Installation ISO disc of software, am I right.

Why do you not just install the Vista SP1 package?

Yeah, about your question.

vLite gives you the choice to enable/disable some features in Vista.
So if you've got 1 tiny thing disabled, that SP1 needs, the installation gives an error.

But know i've got that SP1 dvd, and it runs quite well.:)

Except for 1 thing.

I can't overclock any more:confused:
With 4Gb I can, but with 6Gb nothing:(

That's weird, overclocking has nothing to do with Vista it's done in the BIOS.

Yeah, I know that...

But BSOD's do actually come with Vista while overclocking.
So it has to be some hardware/driver conflict.

Getting ecache.sys the most common error.
