so, all i have to do is download unbuntu put it in a cd and put the cd in the pc?

First it has to boot and we are having problems with that.
Second you have to follow the instuctions after it boots.
I think it may be best to wait for Mom. I would feel very bad if something happened and we lost your stuff.

if the program is ment for we dont lose our stuff than we wont lose it. so get it to the cd and the cdto the pc - thats the first thing to do right?

First thing you do on another computer burn the CD
Then if the computer boots, boot from the Cd
Then go back to my post and see what to do once Ubuntu is loaded.
If we cannot save your stuff, I do think I will wait for Mom.

my cd doesnt have enough space, so how do i know if my flash is bootable?

i tried to install win to flash - it makes flash bootable , but what do i do if it says ricorrect source of windows files [ i`ve got a problem installing it.]

If you know how to make a flash bootable, you have everything that you need. There really is not much more that I can tell you.
Just boot the DVD or flash and save your stuff.

Actually, you have all the instuctions. If you can boot into Ubuntu, just follow the instuctions that I gave regarding backing up your stuff.

The bios on the Mother Board needs to support booting from a USB device...some newer motherboards have this feature; your computer may not.
