There now do you see what I mean? Sorry it took so long I had to figure out your way of doing files.

Who ever isn't sitting back laughing their heads off over this if you could explain to me why I have those options in some menus but not others I would really appreciate it!

My Computer

Dragonfly Girl, you do not have the Copy/Move To options in the top screenshot because you do not have a file or folder selected in the main Windows Explorer window like you do in the bottom screenshot. ;)

Hi, thanks for the info, but this is very clumsy. Looks like win 95! Is there no way of putting nested folders into the "send to" menu and get cascading menus like win 98? You could put in an empty copy of your whole document tree, and find the folder you wanted extremely quickly.

Hello Tony, and welcome to Vista Forums.

You can add whatever folder you would like to the "Send To" context menu. You will have to add the folder you want to send to though since it will not be expand from that folder to select a subfolder though.

I loved this little hack to add those folders. Microsoft had to have preprogrammed the function into Windows for this to work. Why didn't they activate them in the release? There must be others too. What is your source for this information?

One thing though; I'm not sure why you chose to add the IDs to the KeyName. I used the actual names under ContextMenuHandlers and added the IDs to the default keys like the image below:

CopyandMovetoFolderReg.jpg

The only difference appears to be that they show up above the "Send To" menu item like the image below:

CopyandMovetoFolder.jpg

Is there a reason I shouldn't do it this way? At least I know what those registry keys are for by looking at them.
