Here are some miscellaneous bits of information about my pc and its problem:
OS:
Vista Home Premium 64 bit.
CPU:
AMD Phenom II X4 940 Processor 3.00 GHz
Motherboard:
Biostar TA790GX 128M
Memory:
8.00 GB
Graphics Card(s):
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
Manufacturer:
Cyberpower, INC.
My BlueScreen Issues this time (i have had some with this computer before) occured when i was trying to start it up after it was improperly shut down, i'm guessing a power outage shut it off while i was sleeping (I usually leave it on pretty much constantly). And basically i've been getting BlueScreen errors whenever i turn the pc on after it runs for a few minutes, or when i try to do certain things with it, like play a game, watch a video, or do certain things online.
I tried looking through information from BlueScreenViewer and i found that these files may be issues:
ntoskrnl.exe
netr6164.sys
NETIO.SYS
tcpip.sys
But i am not computer savvy enough to know exactly what is wrong with them or how to fix them. Which is why i am here ^.^
I've also tried running CHKDSK and to my knowledge it doesnt find anything.
And ive run sfc/scannow and that also does not find anything.
I also don't have any good system restore points i can use, not exactly sure what they are called.
My pc also came with a couple of discs that i believe i'm supposed to be able to use to repair the OS but i'm not exactly sure what is what or how to use them, One says "Drivers and Utilities CD" one says "Display Driver Installation CD" and the other says " Cyberpower, INC. Windows Vista Home Premium SP1. The software included on this Recovery DVD-ROM was pre-installed on your hard drive at the factory and may only be used for backup and recovery of your Cyberpower Inc. computer system" But yea i don't know how to use them, and the software is so old and the pc has been upgraded as far as drivers and Windows updates so much that i'm not sure if this would cause more problems than it solves.
