Look at the post above yours. Ex_Brit will link you to it if you ask him in this thread.

You need to ask him for either 32 bit or 64 bit iso, or both.

When you have downloaded the vista iso file, you can burn it as an image to dvd. You need an image burner for that. If you are running win7 or newer there is a burner built in. Otherwise there are many free ones like this:

Or you can extract it to create a bootable usb stick using Usb7ice:

Peter,
My Vista Home Premium will not boot up. There is a clicking sound coming from my PC just before the boot is complete. After a few mins if trying to complete the process, I get a message to use the boot disk. I do not have this. How can I fix this issue and boot up my OS? Where can I get a boot disk? I can not get into Safe Mode.
Thanks.

I’m not sure if it’s a 32 or 64 bit system but I think it’s 32. If I use this to boot my system, will I lose all my saved data?

Then you need to boot your machine from the vista dvd/bootable usb stick.

When you see the "Install Now" window, click "Repair your computer" at the bottom left and it will switch to the system recovery options.

It is all explained in the following link. See method 2 at the link

The link is directly to my Cloud storage in New Zealand - maybe there was a problem, I will send it again. First you need to extract the ZIPPED file, best use 7-Zip as Windows own unzipper behaves erratically, then burn it using the above suggested software or my preference, IMGBurn. You need to have a blank disk to burn this to (or klarge capacity USB stick). Personal files will be erased if you install it as a fresh copy. If you choose to repair the existing Vista then all will be preserved. I will send you the links again, if they misdirect then you need to get rid of temporaryt files and do a virus check. A hard drive simply clikcing and not working probab ly means the hard drive is dead.

I forgot to mention your BIOS must be set so the DVD or USB drive boots before the hard drive.
