On a simple ADSL with BT BT has to be the most unstable ISP I know

Wow First time I have seen an Upload bigger than Download speed - You use FTP Server or something?

Pretty instant. Not THAT fast, but satisfactory.

4.16 mbps download & .88 upload with a ping of 59 ms; decent for dsl and I got a great price. It does the job for what I need and I don't do online gaming so I really don't need anything more. It is certainly better than dial up so I'm not complaining.

Wow. I wonder though why if you have such a fantastic upload and download is your ping no better than mine?

19.05 Mb/s Download , 4.10 Mb/s Upload , 41 ms ping..

That is about all i can get with the computer i have..

I doubt that it gets any better except possibly a major internet hub. Besides, short of having a gigabit ethernet, what would your computer have to do with it?

Went to DSLreports.com and from their tests it looks like my modem is generating packet loss, so will try another and see if that improves speeds. I'm on exetel 8192/384 plan $85 month

Nice DL speed I'd love speeds like that, I only get about 2MB/s. It's strange that your UL is so much lower.

Just the way they shape it I think...uploads are free on my account. Would rather have my son's speeds in Brisbane..

64MB/s!? Blimey, I don't think I've ever seen it so high. That's also the fastest ping speed that I've ever seen
